Soak up the the spirit of the holiday season from the comfort of a Gatlinburg Trolley aboard the Gatlinburg Trolley Ride of Lights! This relaxing ride takes you on a magical 45 minute journey through the Christmas lights in Gatlinburg TN without having to focus on driving your own vehicle. The Trolley Route departs the Mass Transit Center at traffic light #5 three times nightly from November through December, excluding the first Friday in December, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The tour will also take place each Saturday night in January. Departure times on each night of operation are at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
2. Gatlinburg Space Needle
One of the best ways to view the Christmas lights in Gatlinburg TN is from the top of the Gatlinburg Space Needle! This 407-foot-tall observation tower features stunning views of downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains.
