Looking at pictures of the Smokey Mountains and surrounding terrain on the Internet or magazine really doesn’t do the real thing justice. For anyone who has traveled to the Smokey Mountains knows that the landscape alone makes for one unforgettable vacation.

The month of June in Gaitlinburg, TN, the town where we’re located, is a popular one. The town welcomes people from all over to join in the fun at various festivals, theatrical performances and sporting events. During the first official month of summer, Gaitlinburg offers fun for everyone.

So if you plan on visiting us in the month of June, here’s a list of some of the activities you can join in. As always, we are open for reservations and would be delighted for you to stay in one of our many beautiful cabins.

Cherokee Voices Festival in early June. This is a great opportunity for the whole family with dance, crafts, storytelling and music.

Early June through Early August is the annual Dollywood Kidsfest. The name says it all for this event. The youngest members of your family can enjoy crafts, karaoke, clowns, magicians and so much more.

Through late June, Gaitlinburg celebrates the Gaitlinburg Flower Fest. Visitors can walk the streets of town and admire all of the beautiful flower arrangements that have been created by local artists. Live entertainment is also provided at this event.

From mid-June to early August, come celebrate the Smokey Mountains with us at the Smokey Mountains Tunes and Tales festival. This event features singing, dancing and storytelling in the warm summer evenings.
